I met Jules at Mamawi when i worked there and we became close and I helped him with advocating for his children and whatever he needed for what he wanted to do in his goals to be an advocate in the North End. I was the admin at Anderson and i believed in him and his goals and he made me laugh every day. He would come in to the site and brighten up our days, mine the most. When i moved to Pittsburgh he told me he would be waiting for me when I came back in his joking way. He was an awesome person and tried so hard to help others and I truly admired his love for his family. I just found out that he is no longer with us and I am so sad to hear this news. My sincerest condolences to his family and he will be missed. - Posted by: serena copenace (friend) on: Dec 07, 2012

I went to school with Jules in Vancouver and we used to refer to one another as brother and sister. He and I lost touch as we both moved away but we reconnected a couple of years ago. He was a brother to me during hard times and was always there when I needed him. I am shocked and pained to hear of his passing as I had no idea. My heart is broken for his family.. I am so so sorry. - Posted by: Michelle Craig (friend) on: Dec 04, 2012

I remember when I met Jules many years ago at the Sass Jordan concert. We became good buddies and would hang out all the time playing cards and board games. Although we lost touch over the years, he would call me once in a while to let me know what was new; he was SO excited and proud when the boys were born. My condolences to the family. I will miss you Julie. - Posted by: Tara May (friend) on: Sep 20, 2012
