EVELYN DORIS MCEWAN April 28, 1926 - September 19, 2012 With sadden hearts we announce the passing of Evelyn McEwan. She was predeceased by her husband James and their son James Jr. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Joanne, Ralph, Bruce, Glen, Norm, Murray, Ken, Diane, Don, and their spouses, 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her three sisters Elsie, Jean, Betty and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a grand lady and a loving mother. She raised her 10 children with patience and understanding. Up to the very end Mom kept her fabulous sense of humour and her love of life. Everyone who met her were touched by her gracious soul and loving heart. Our family would like to thank the entire staff at Bethania Care Home for their care and compassion. We also would like to thank Wheeler Funeral Home, for helping the family during this difficult time. As per Evelyn's wishes there will be no funeral services. Mom, you will always be in our hearts and we know you will be our guardian angel watching over us all until we meet again.
