EDWIN OLAF LARSEN August 24, 1934 September 19, 2012 It is with great sadness that Linda announces the passing of Ed on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Southeast Personal Care Home. Left to cherish Ed's memory are his wife Linda of 38 years. He is also survived by his sons Don (Cindy), Gary (Sue); grandchildren Kristin (Andrew), Eric, Kyra, McKenna; great-grandson, Lucas; as well as by the Willson families; his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Otto and Ethel; sisters Doris and Alice; brothers Herb and Carl; and brother-in-law Jim. Ed was a Lithographer in Winnipeg for 47 years. He enjoyed travelling, taking great pictures, golfing, reading and television. When you needed an answer for questions on any subject, Ed was the one to call. We will all miss his unique sense of humour. In compliance with Ed's wishes there will be no funeral, a family gathering will be held at a later date. Many thanks are extended to the Southeast Personal Care Home for their care of Ed; as well to our dear family and friends for all their love and support. Special thanks to his (fav's), Andrea, Cathy, Karen and Terri. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Ed's memory to a charity of your choice. Until we meet again. Precious

  • I will sure miss my Uncle Ed. I'll miss his one-liners, and his jokes. He sure made us laugh; our family gatherings will never be the same. I'm sure that right now he is entertaining his family and friends who have gone before him. Our loss is their gain. Love, your fav, Cathy. - Posted by: cathy lindgren (niece) on: Sep 26, 2012
