ANNE ANTONATION (nee SHWALUK) October 27, 1918 - September 25, 2012 Passed away peacefully at Boyne Lodge in Carman, Manitoba. Anne was predeceased by her husband John, and two children Linda and Nestor. She is survived by her sons Walter and Ernest (Lorraine); daughter Oral; her grandchildren Todd Antonation (Kim), Kim Driedger (Brad), Scott Antonation (Pamela), Nicole Kudor (Kurtis) and Melanie Antonation (Stephan Joachim). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Kara and Brendan Driedger, Thomas Kudor, and Ella and Megan Antonation. Anne was born and raised on a farm in Olha, Manitoba along with her brothers Joseph, Michael, William, Nicholas and Matthew. She married at the age of 19 and farmed with her husband John in the Olha, Vista and Kelloe, Mantoba areas. In 1958, they moved to the village of Shoal Lake where they resided, worked and became active members of the community. She lived in Shoal Lake until she became a resident of Boyne Lodge earlier this year. Anne is being grieved by a family that will always remember her warmth, generosity, kindness and devotion. Funeral Services will be held at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Shoal Lake, Manitoba on Monday, October 1 at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff of Boyne Lodge in Carman, Manitoba where she received exceptional care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carman Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
