Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANA LYNN ANDERSON (nee SAMEC) February 20, 1966 September 25, 2012 It is with sad hearts that we must announce the passing of our mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend today. Our mother came into this world 46 years ago and was raised in a loving caring family of proud Ukrainian descent, which consisted of her father Walter (1931 2006), mother Mary and older sister Denise. She was raised for the most part in Windsor Park and St. Vital and attended Glenlawn Collegiate high school. She loved animals especially her cats and was of a kind, and kindred spirit who wouldn't so much as hurt a fly. In 1981 she met our father Kris Anderson and while they considered marriage along came Kristen in 1986, and then Kari in 1988 and finally the last one of us Karley in 1990 and our family was complete. We have many fond memories of the times growing up as three sisters while our parents were together. They married in 1993 and although they divorced in 1998 our appreciation towards both of them and our extended relatives never wavered. They both moved on with their lives much the same as we did with ours and always made us feel loved, wanted, appreciated and proud of ourselves. As of recent during the last couple of years our mother began experiencing health issues of which she had no control over that lead to her passing on Tuesday. Dearest mother we know you're looking down from above on us now and see all there is to see. We also know you're in God's hands but we're going to miss you so much for we wish you could have stayed with us longer. We were so proud of you and you will always be with us in our hearts and never forgotten. Left to cherish your memories are daughter Kristen and Dan Bruneau and only grandson Hayden, daughter Kari, daughter Karley and Kamil Oleder, mother Mary and only sister Denise and husband Rick Prokop and many other relatives and friends. We'd like to thank her neighbours who provided their help and the first responders who attended and saw to it that our mother's predicament was attended to with the utmost respect and professionalism during our time of need. A service will be held for our dear mother followed by a light lunch on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. All those who wish to pay their last respects are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the M.S. Society or a charity of one's choice.
