HARVEY WILLIAM HORSMAN We are sad to announce the passing of Harvey William Horsman at the age of 76. He passed peacefully in his home in Chilliwack, BC. He was predeceased by his father (Harry), mother (Tina) and wife (Audrey). He is survived by his brother Bob (Bernice), sons Bob (Kelly), Wayne (Franca), David, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Harvey was born in Winnipeg January 4, 1936 where he grew up and raised a family. In 1975 he moved to Vancouver with wife Audrey and son David. After a stroke in 2007 he and Audrey moved to Chilliwack, BC to be closer to family. Harvey worked in Information Technology most of his working life and ran his own software company for 30 years where he met many friends and associates. He will be sadly missed by many. As per Harvey's wishes no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Thank you to the staff at the Bradley Centre in Chilliwack and a very special thank you to Barb Amundson for the love and care they showed to Harvey.

Harvey and I were team mates on the City and Provincial Bantam A Championship team from The Sir John Franklin Community Club in Winnipeg in the early 1950's. He was an exceptional athlete. Should his family wish a team photo just call me and I will send a copy. I have fond memories of those days on outdoor rinks with good friends. - Posted by: Norm Weitzel (Team mate) on: Oct 14, 2012

I am so very sorry for your loss Bob, Wayne, and David. They were both an important part of my life and I loved them so very much. No one was a better match for my "smart-ass" than Harvey and no one sassed him better than Audrey! So many cherished, wonderful memories. We had such good times, they will always be in my heart. Much love to all of you and to your families. - Posted by: Heather Bowery Perkins () on: Oct 02, 2012
