When I was a young student optician studying for exams, I'll never forget Kevin's willingness to aid my studies, volunteering his own time enthusiastically even though I worked for 'the competition'. He was a passionate and patient teacher. Later, as an 'optical community' friend, I always found him with a positive attitude even when life was throwing curves his way. A good man has left us far too early. My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones. - Posted by: Lori Morris (Fellow Optician / associate) on: Oct 14, 2012

I have and never will forget the fond memories of Kevin and the kindness of his family growing up. Many days and years playing soccer or football in the Firehall yard, watching the Canada/Russia hockey series, or listening to Kevin play drums to Elvis tunes. Kevin will always remain a big part of the best of my childhood. I am very sorry for your loss. I so wish that time had not passed so fast for Kevin. My prayers go out to the family. - Posted by: Margaret Temple (Childhood friend) on: Oct 08, 2012

When I started my second career of opticianry I learned to appreciate the consummate and knowledgeable optician and lab tech Kevin was even then as a young man, this was 1986, at ST.Vital SNK. He helped me by correcting mistakes I might have made as a brand new optician and in general was a great coworker who created a good working environment for us all. I was shocked to hear of his passing, but I am glad to have known him! Rene Luder. - Posted by: Rene Luder (Fellow Optician) on: Oct 07, 2012
