Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTERENCE (TERRY) GEORGE BURT Terry passed away peacefully on September 26, 2012 after a long illness, at Health Sciences Centre MICU, with his family by his side. Terry is survived by his wife Marianne (Deppendorf), stepson Gregory (Susan), stepdaughter Brigitta. Terry was Big Grandpa to Marianna, Sara, Katelin, Rebecca and Brendan. He is also survived by his first wife's family, Verla McEwan and family, Grant Guy (Evelyn) and family, goddaughter Karen (Zig) Iskirsky and family, Teresa (Blake) Morden and family. Terry was predeceased by his first wife Joyce, mother Ivy, father Stan, stepmother Josie, and in-laws Fritz and Thea Deppendorf. Terry was employed by the City of Winnipeg for 39 years, retiring as Manager of Transit Treasury. He was a lifetime member of CUPE Local 500, Ancient Landmark Masonic Lodge #3 A.F A.M. and Khartum Shriners. He was honoured to be President of the Khartum Ruff Riders. Terry was very active in the community and was particularly proud to be the recipient of the Big Brothers of Winnipeg Distinguished Service Award . Terry was very active by volunteering in many administration positions. He was particularly fond of his time in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders and always maintained his love for pipe music. Terry and Marianne loved to travel and they were able to see much of the world, including his personal favourite, Hawaii. Terry will be laid to rest in a private family service on Saturday, October 6, 2012. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Khartum Shriners, 1155 Wilkes Avenue or to a charity of your choice. May He Rest In Peace. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

We certainly can empathize with how you are feeling having just lost our father/grandfather this week as well. Many thanks for your help with the membership committee at CWRA. You will be missed not only by your family and friends but the community at large.
