VIOLET ELIZABETH WATSON (nee Ferguson) December 18, 1919 October 3, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at Seven Oaks Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1957 as well as three brothers and one sister. Mom leaves behind daughters Sharon (Norm) and Donna (John); grandchildren Pam (Robert), Robert (Carla), and Jeffery (Kandice); great- grandchildren Cole, Brooklyn, Hailey, Emma, James, and Jackson who always brought a smile to her face. Mom worked and eventually retired after many years with the Department of Highways at the age of 65. She loved travelling, shopping, children, and animals of all kinds. Since July 2011, Mom resided at Luther Home. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank everyone at Luther Home. We will miss this gentle, kind, independent woman. Funeral Home and Crematorium 843 Sherbrook St 1510 St. Mary's Rd 204-774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Sherry & Donna, your Mom was a lovely lady and I have very fond memories of my Auntie Vi. She lived a great life and I'm sure was very proud of you both and your lovely families. - Posted by: Peggy Watson (Niece) on: Oct 09, 2012

  • Auntie Vi was my godmother. She always treated me with kindness. I fondly remember going to her house on Newton and she took me upstairs to visit with her Mom who was living there and we shared the most wonderful shortbread. - Posted by: Linda Dyck (niece) on: Oct 05, 2012
