JOHN EDWIN SWANSON John Edwin Swanson passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Prayers and Viewing will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard. John's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, 10:30 a.m. in the Army Navy Air Force Veterans Unit 283, 3584 Portage Avenue. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.

Hi Dad!! just wanted to say Hi!! The summer is almost over. Your youngest granddaughter is walking.. They are getting so big. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss you.. mom is doing well.. You would be so proud of us we are taking good care of mom. She is doing very well.. Heidi, Cindy, Nancy and Dee. I am very sorry for your loss. John will be missed. I was very shocked to find out this morning as it seems like just the other day he drove by me and honked as I was getting out of my van ....scaring me as he usually did.
