MICHAEL (MIKE) BAZILEWICH November 18, 1940 - October 9, 2012 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Mike passed away on October 9, 2012 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Jadwiga, and his siblings, Nancy (John), Ed (Janet), Allan (Marcia), Marcie (Bill), Barbara (Ralph), Rob (Agnes) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Mary, and his brothers Fred and George. Mike grew up and went to school in Arborg, later moving to Winnipeg where he was employed with Western Fabrics until his retirement in the Fall of 2011. The family would like to thank Dr. Ibbitt, Dr. Woo and the doctors and nurses in Unit E6 at the St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care provided to Mike. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with cremation to follow.
