WAYNE JASON HASELHAN It is with profound sadness and deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Wayne Jason Haselhan. Wayne passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012, at the age of 42 years at the St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side, after fighting a lengthy illness. He leaves to mourn his passing his father Wayne Sr., his mother Jacqueline, his sister Linsday (Bryan) and nieces Kaitlyn, Cassandra, and nephew Eryck. He will be greatly missed by numerous extended family, friends, and special pet/companion, Buddy. Wayne was educated in Winnipeg and worked in the Sheet Metal Industry for many years before his illness forced him to leave work. One of his favourite pastimes was listening to music, especially by one of his favourite bands, Metallica. Anyone that knew Wayne could contest to his generous nature. He would always lend a helping hand whether it would be with a weekend project or a simple errand. He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him. In respecting Wayne's wishes, cremation and private interment will take place and no formal memorial service will be held. We ask that all who knew Wayne to celebrate his life in your own way and to cherish the memories of this unique and wonderful person. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in memory of Wayne may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
