My brother Dale was in the hospital at the same time as Colin and also passed away. I just wanted to tell the family they're not alone and my prayers and thoughts are with them. - Posted by: Corey Letwinetz (acquaintance) on: Oct 15, 2012

I have known Colin since I was about 14 years old I am now 30. I have much respect for him as not many men would have been able to run a farm and raise a child on his own. He also loved his baby daughter enough to give her a life he could not after the passing of his first wife. Its crazy how fast life changes and how you never know when you leave someone that it could very well be the last time you see them. Love you..Roxane George and aunty Ruthy! Been thinking of you guys since last Friday! See you all on Monday....Colin you will be very missed - Posted by: shelley (friend) on: Oct 13, 2012

My heartfelt sympathy to Ruth, George, Brenda, Lorraine and all your families. Its hard to comprehend that Colin left us so soon. With our families living next door to each other, I have many memories from those childhood days that are running through my mind at this time. On summer Sundays when our parents were resting from a hard week of farming, it was an easy trek between homes for us kids to gather and spend the afternoon together playing some game or other. Monday my thoughts and prayers will be with you all as we say our last goodbyes Love to all. Hazel - Posted by: Hazel (cousin) on: Oct 13, 2012
