I can't think of Manitou without thinking about Gary. He was my first boyfriend. We spent the summer at the dam listening to The Cars and kissing. I last saw him at the Manitou 100th celebration. I remember Gary as a fun-loving, adventurous guy. He always had a smile, and a "life can't get better than this" kind of attitude.
