DOROTHEANN HARRISON (nee PALMER) Dorotheann Harrison passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 91. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Jack. Dear mother of Michael and his wife Kimberley of Thornhill, Richard and his wife Nancy of Brockville and Ian and his wife Darlene of North Bay. Cherished Gramma-Ann of Erin, Amanda, Scott, Spencer, Tara and Ben and great-grandmother of Aidan and Christian. Ann will be missed by her nieces Carol, Valerie and Brenda and their families of Detroit. Special thanks to the caregivers from Sunrise of Unionville for their care and compassion. Ann was born in London, England and served as a Corporal in the Royal Air Force in the W.A.A.F. division during the Second World War. Her passions included gardening, curling, cooking, decorating and most of all her beloved English bulldogs. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. A private cremation and urn interment will take place at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
