Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR LOUISE THOMPSON (nee MILLER) Peacefully in the early hours of October 14, 2012, after suffering many health problems, Eleanor Louise Thompson passed away at the age of 82 years at West Park Manor. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, her parents Catherine Agnes (Dolly) and Sydney William Arthur Miller, many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Valoree and son-in-law John and his family, aunt Lillian McLean and family, brother-in-law, Herbert (Bud) and his wife Minn and family, sisters-in-law Jessie, Betty and Mary and their families, nieces, nephews, cousins, godsons Alan and Brad and her many friends. Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 18 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd., intersection of Roblin and Haney in Charleswood. Interment at Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, 2373 Main Street to follow. Reception at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street immediately following the interment at approximately 11:00 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined, if so desire, donations may be made in Eleanor's name to St. Mary Anglican Church, West Park Manor, Misericordia Interim Care Facility or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. They family wishes to thank Dr. G. Hasdan, all the staff at West Park Manor and her companions Mary, Brenda, Vicky, and Ruby; Misericordia Health Care team, especially Jo Jo and Debbie; Dr. M. Kristjanson and the Seven Oaks Care team and also the W.H.R.A. Home Care team especially Carol and Yolanda. Special thanks to Cito and pastoral care, Rev. Lenise Francis, Trish Wood, Bill Vincent, Ken Perry and Ruth and all the staff who so lovingly looked after Mom at West Park and Misericordia, especially her favourites who treated her with so much compassion and care. You treated her like family and it meant a lot to her. The family would like to thank all the people who visited her and gave her support and to St. Anne's Anglican Church and pastoral care and to the many friends who she grew up with in West Kildonan.
