Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIAN SCOTT CLAYTON May 29, 1977 - October 10, 2012 My Darling Boy, We felt your pain and knew how powerless we were to save you. The reality was that no matter how badly we felt, you were the one who had to deal with your feelings and take steps to make things better. The tunnel was so dark, with no relief on your horizon. Thus, on Wednesday afternoon, October 10, 2012, Ian Scott Clayton exited this world. Left behind to grieve are his beautiful children, Ethan and Janelle and their mother Susan, his big brother Jamie, who did so much and tried so hard to reach him, Roger, his Aunties Ethel (Mark), Audrey, Lynn (Brian), Stella (Svend), Lenore (Albert), Uncles Brian and Joe, great-aunts and uncles and many cousins, both here and in Scotland. Thank you Walter and Linda and family and please know that Ian did appreciate all your love and support. Thank you to all his friends who helped Ian in the good times and bad. He did value you. Ian was a wonderful child, full of mischief and determination. His friends always waited for him to lead the way. He loved to listen to his music, play some vids and also excelled at sports, but his passion was fishing. He spent many an hour looking for the next big one . Ian loved Ethan and Janelle very much and had some of his best times when they played soccer, baseball or went swimming at the Pan Am pool. He was so proud of them. Ian was predeceased by his father Jim, his grandparents, Auntie Ruby, Auntie Dorothy, Uncle Bill and Uncle George. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Donations in Ian's memory may be made to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, 2nd Floor, 1031 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3G 0R8 or any charity of your choice. Eileen and Jamie, We are so sorry to hear about Ian. We have always remembered him so fondly. We lost our Christine 3 years ago and know what despair you must be feeling.
