Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • RIP Aunty Fran, You Were an Amazing Lady <3 - Posted by: Nicole Jordan (Great Grand Neice) on: Oct 20, 2012

  • It took me a couple of days to remember my last conversation with Fran, we agreed to say so long rather than good bye. I really miss her phone calls and remembrances of old school friends, she really had a good long term memory. There will never be another Frania around. My thoughts and prayers to Don, Glenn, Brad, David and grand children. - Posted by: Connie Laschuk (BFF over 60 years.) on: Oct 19, 2012

  • Mrs. Purpur was a great neighbour, very friendly and kind. She will be sadly missed, but her bright spirit and cheerful disposition will be remembered forever. - Posted by: Corey Semmer-Martin (family friend) on: Oct 17, 2012

  • I would look forward to Mrs. Purpur's visits when I would stop by and see my parents who lived across the street from the Purpurs on Sharron Bay. We would have such wonderful chats over a cup of tea. Mrs. Purpur was always warm, happy and lots of fun! Not only was she an interesting lady, but she was interested in what was happening in our lives too. I truly felt her love and miss her very much already. Our deepest sympathy to you Mr. Purpur and your dear sons (wives) and grandchildren. God Bless, Tracy Semmer Kloos and Peter Kloos, the Semmer Family and the Martin family. - Posted by: Tracy Semmer Kloos, Peter Kloos, (friend and neighbour) on: Oct 17, 2012

  • I was blessed to know the Purpur's since 1970. My memories...growing up with Brad (going to school and playing hockey). You always knew Mr. and Mrs. Purpur were watching our hockey games... Mrs.Purpur cheering and Mr.Purpur yelling.. "MOVE" when Brad had the puck. ... We cannot forget the many North Kildonan Family gatherings at THE LINK's family cottage. ... We all had a good laugh that Mrs. Purpur always knew the gossip of North Kildonan. Thanks for the great memories Mrs. Purpur. My thoughts and prayers to The Purpur Family. - Posted by: Kim Kozak (Family friend) on: Oct 17, 2012
