Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) FULTON William Fulton (Bill) passed away shortly after noon on October 9, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 66 years following a very courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on September 8, 1946. Bill was predeceased by his father William and is survived by his son Bryce, his mother Maisie, his brother Thomas, sister-in-law Donna, and nephew and niece Adam and Alison. As a young child Bill travelled the world with his parents, settling in Australia, before returning to Ireland and eventually moving to Canada in the late 1950s. Bill travelled the world in his 20s, spending time in Europe and Africa. Bill loved being outdoors. He would make weekly visits to Birds Hill Park to cross country ski in the winter and he could be frequently found wilderness canoeing and camping in the Canadian Shield. We would like to thank everyone who helped during this difficult time. Your support was immeasurable. Bill will be deeply missed and forever loved.

I left the province in 2011 and did not learn of Bill's passing until today. He was a true friend to me, and always encouraged me to be joyous in life. I cherish the canoe trips we took together. Sometimes a sad departure is required, for an old spirit to be reborn in the heart of a child. See you on the distant shore Bill. With each paddle stroke the heart beats stronger. - Posted by: Robert Norberg (Friend) on: Jan 13, 2013

BILL CAME TO WPG. FROM BELFAST WHEN I WAS IN GRADE 6 "I THINK". I WAS THE FIRST TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH HIM. BILL WAS OUTGOING AND FUN TO BE WITH AS HE ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING FUNNY TO SAY. WE PLAYED FOOTBALL TOGETHER AT WESTON COMMUNITY CENTER. WE WOULD ALSO WALK EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT TO EATONS DWNTWN AND BACK IN WINTER AND SUMMER. WE WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS DURING HIGH SCHOOL AND DID NOT SEE EACH OTHER UNTIL ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO AT THE WESTON BOYS GOLF TOURNEY. SAD TO HEAR OF HIS CANCER.
