LOUIS LAHAIE Louis Telesphore Lahaie, beloved husband of Mrs. Regia Lahaie of Calgary, passed away in Calgary on October 20, 2012 at 96 3/4 years of age. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved husband, The love of my life . Louis was born in Letellier, MB. He dedicated six years of his life to the church, then proceeded to get his B.ED.; he taught school in Winnipeg, Selkirk, Beausejour, and Lac du Bonnet. He married the love of his life, Regia, his Rock on June 27, 1947. They spent 65 precious years together. He was a good man, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. His humour and entertaining conversations will be remembered forever. Louis was a very positive person throughout his life. He often said in later life: au ciel, au ciel, j'irais les voir un jour . May he rest in peace. We love you. He was the loving father of Albert Lahaie, Marietta Horchower (Alain) of Calgary, and will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren Lisa (Mark) and Joseph Horchower and great-grandchild, Joshua. He will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Blanche, father Albert, brothers: Paul (Antoinette), Hector, sisters: Therese (David), Celine (Amedie), Simone (Chris), Hortense (Leon). Funeral Services will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba at a later date. Je suis la fille de Rosaline Lahaie & François Gendron. Je demeure en Ontario et je suis originaire du Québec Son livret "Now I See" m'a touché profondément il y a plusieurs années. Oncle Louis, tu étais mon favori. Tes histoires, ta gaieté et ta bonté resteront près de mon cœur pour toujours. Je me rappelle des soupers de Noël en familles. Quelles fêtes! Repose en paix. J'aurai toujours des bons souvenires d'oncle Louis....ses histories drôles, ses taquineries,son attitude positive. Il a été bon pour mes parents et pour nous, ses neveux et ses nièces.
