Mary, Lynn, Randy and families. Was very sorry to hear of Myrs' passing, please accept our deepest sympathies. A friend gave me a note with these words when my dad died and I found some comfort in the message. Hope you do too. ****************************************** I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says: “There, she is gone!” “Gone where ?” Gone from my sight. That is all. Her diminished size is in me , not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: “There she is gone!” there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: “Here she comes!” And that is dying. My sincere condolences to the Kubas family. I remember Myrs as a principal when the elementary school was the main school. His office in the back on the second floor. Dear Mary and Family So sorry to hear about Myrs’s passing, our thoughts and Prayers are with you. Quote: When someone dies, an angel is there to meet them at the gates of Heaven to let them know that their life has just begun. I’m sure our dad (Walter) was there to meet Myrs and they’re playing Crib like they use to; enjoying a few good laughs. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. - Posted by: Debbie, Nellie, Ed, Donna, Dave, Jean Wowchuk (Friends) on: Oct 23, 2012

Our deepest sympathies go out to Mary, Lynn, Randy and families. I can think back as if it was yesterday when I was in school and remembering Mr Kubas. Whether it was time to get down to the business of school and learning or having fun playing baseball against the students which I remember so well at the old elemantary school in town. To me, Fisher Branch has lost another one of its pillars in the community. I saw you, Mr Kubas, only a few short weeks ago. I'm glad I did. We're going to miss you. - Posted by: Ralph and Pat Tanchak () on: Oct 23, 2012
