Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEA VISSER (TAUBENSEE) April 22, 1939 - October 24, 2012 Sadly on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, Thea went home to be with her Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. Thea was born on April 22, 1939, to Wilhelm and Maria Taubensee in East Prussia. She leaves behind to mourn her loving husband John Visser, her three children Monika Habeck (Les), Horst Habeck (Carmele) and Darlene Moyse (Doug), her four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her loving cat Sammy. Also left to mourn are her brothers Ervin (Unca), Winfried (Olga), Armin (Gloria), and her sisters Rita (Lloyd), Crystal (Ernst), Doris, and Gudrin (Joe). She was predeceased in death by her parents and her sisters Ursula, Bruni and Rotraud. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012, with viewing prior to service at 9:30 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give thanks to the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for their compassion and care in her last days. Mom it has now been 6 years since you passed and not a day goes by we do not miss you. Every now and again I wake up from dreaming and you were there. I can always feel your prescence and know when you are around. I do hope that you have found peace and know that you are missed every day and always will be. Very shortly we will mark the 5th year of since you leaving us mom. Not a day goes by that you are not in my thoughts and how I wish I could just sit with you and talk, share a good laugh and see your smile. Two years ago today, you left us suddenly. We think and miss you each and every day and as time goes on it does not get any easier with you not around. Your laughter and smile is missed each and every day, your early morning phone calls to say hello or weekend visits to see you and just sit and talk. Life has not been the same without you and it is with a tear in my eye as I write this and remember and miss you so very much. It was one year ago today that you left us Mom and not a day goes by that we do not think of you and miss you. Being able to share the memories you created for us always brings a smile to our faces and also a tear once in awhile. We miss you so much and wish you had not left so soon and were not able to share more of our lives with you. You are loved every day and missed always. We will always remember Aunt Thea.. She used to surprise us with bottles of perfume!! If nothing else, we sure smelled good! The boys will miss her especially during the Holiday season, where we enjoyed one of Thea's special parties. She always had a smile on whenever we saw her. God Bless You, Thea.
