BONNIE ANNE FARRELL May 24, 1949 - October 21, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Grandma (Bubbles), Mom, and friend. She leaves behind her son Gregory, daughter-in-law Karleigh, grandsons Evan and Brett and many loving in-laws that welcomed her into their lives. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents James and Mary Farrell. Bonnie was born in Terrace Bay, ON, and raised in Red Rock, ON. She enjoyed playing softball and swimming while growing up. She always had strong memories of her hometown and kept in close contact with her childhood friend Linda over the years. Bonnie graduated from Nipigon-Red Rock High School in June 1967 (Grade 13). Bonnie moved to Winnipeg shortly after that and worked at Manitoba Hydro on Taylor Avenue for many years. In the 1980s Bonnie worked as an Executive Assistant at the HVDC Research Centre with an electrical engineering group. Bonnie took on several part-time jobs and enjoyed her retirement years in the Grant Park/Crescentwood neighborhood. The most joy in her retirement years was spent visiting her two young grandsons, Evan and Brett. She also enjoyed spending time with extended family and close friend Norman and others in the neighborhood. Thank you Mom for raising me as a single-parent. You always provided me with an unbelievable amount of love and happiness and a great home to live in. We grew up as a pair and our bond will never be broken. You will be in my memory and heart forever. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at the Rockwood Army Navy, 341 Wilton Street at Lorette on Tuesday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m. THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
