MAE PETERS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden yet peaceful passing of Mae Peters, age 74, on October 21, 2012. Mae will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Bob Peters, her daughters, Karen and Brenda Peters, grandchildren, Joshua, and Kaleigh, Justin, Matthew and Eric, and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Carter. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Bob and Bill, and sisters, Dorothy, Margaret, Ethel, along with Betty's passing just a year ago. Mae's wishes were for a cremation, with a private interment to take place. The family would like to extend appreciation to the staff of Park Manor Personal Care Home, with special thanks going to the second floor for their exceptional care, compassion and kindness during her short battle with Alzheimer's. A memorial service will be held on November 22, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at Park Manor, 301 Redonda Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, where we will kindly accept donations for the New Personal Care Home Fund. In lieu of flowers, and if people wish to honour her memory, donations can be made to the Park Manor New Personal Care Home Fund, 301 Redonda Street, Winnipeg MB, R2C 1L7, or to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. We are sorry to hear of Mae's passing. She was a neighbour for many years & we enjoyed having them live next door to us. Many an evening was spent with Mae playing Yahtzee while Bob was working. Please accept our heartfelt condolences Bob, Karen & Brenda and families. - Posted by: Bud & Faye Serofin (friends & past neighbours) on: Oct 29, 2012
