Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • On behalf of all of the children's lives you've touched by teaching them the art of language, and the love for learning, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You were a grampa to those without, loving unconditionally each and every soul. You were truly a kindred spirit, and will be greatly missed. The wood carvings, and story book messages will carry a special place always. Take care good fellow. Till we meet again. - Posted by: Connie Stanley (Vice Principal ) on: Oct 31, 2012

  • Always cheeky and independent (like me)...he took me fishing and golfing, let me drive his truck, and fire a rifle at the garbage dump...exactly what a boy wants to do. I'll always cherish those memories...I'll miss you UW... Love Fraser - Posted by: Fraser Auld (Grandchild) on: Oct 31, 2012

  • Will was a rare individual in so many ways. When he drove the school bus in Lac du Bonnet, he would--on the last day of school--drive his bus to the Dairy Bar and purchase ice cream comes for his students! Despite the trauma he went through as a child in World War II, he had a great sense of humor, a tremendous love of life, and a very generous heart. There are some people, no matter how old they are when they die, who are taken from us much too soon. Such was Will, my very good friend. Enjoy heaven, Will, you'll fit right in with God's blessed folk, just as you did here with us! - Posted by: Barry Bence (former pastor) on: Oct 30, 2012
