Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN DE MARCO (nee SYKES) January 29, 1924 - October 28, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Jean De Marco. Mom passed away peacefully at the Maples Personal Care Home on October 28, 2012, just three months short of her 89th birthday. Jean is survived by her children, Terry De Marco (Shirley), Barbara Settee (Burke), Hugh De Marco (Nancy); stepdaughter Norma Kulbaba (Len); brother, John Sykes; grand-children, Terry, Tommy, Nicole, Jason, Amanda, David, Danny, Craig, Kyle, Christine, as well as 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by husband Hugh De Marco and sister Frances Smith. Mom was born in Ochre River, MB, was raised and went to school in Ste. Rose du Lac. She became a licensed L.P.N. and worked at Manitoba rehab hospital until the end of her career. Mom became a resident of the Maples Personal Care Home this past May, due to poor health. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff for the care and compassion she received. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. "Rest in peace Mom we love you." In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association. 204-586-8044
