Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILIA VONAU Cecilia left our world on October 28, 2012 to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was predeceased by her parents George and Marie Tumack, her husband of 55 years Jack, son Arthur, brothers John, Steve, Alex, Bill, Norman, Nick, Peter, Anton, Tommy, Mike, and sister Mary. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Jerry, brother Andy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Cecilia was born September 26, 1928 in Buchanan District of Saskatchewan. While working at the sanatorium in Fort San, SK she met her husband to be Jack, and married him in 1952, before moving to Winnipeg in 1956. She was an avid gardener, loved to grow fresh vegetables which she would preserve. She occupied her time with her family and friends by cooking a feast to be enjoyed by all while in the city and at her cottage at Camp Rusalka. She was also a lifetime active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 265 Flora Ave. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Cecilia was a second mother to me when growing up. She always had time to give me a warm hug or hot meal when needed and would always have great advice for me when growing up.She will be greatly missed but heaven will be a better place now that she is there. - Posted by: Ken Majcher (Family friend) on: Nov 02, 2012
