PAULINE MCFARLANE It is wi th great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie, Pauline McFarlane at the age of 95, with family by her side, at theRiverview Health Centre on October 30, 2012. Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her sons Jim, Gary, Richard, daughter-in-law Gail, grandson Michael (Camille), granddaughters Theresa and Melissa, great-granddaughter Calindy, nieces June (Gord), Cecilia (Kenny), Deloris, Bonnie (Ron), nephews Walter (Diane), Billy, Peter. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Gordon, her parents Nickolas and Anne, brothers Sam, Bill and Pete, sisters Clara and Mary. Pauline was born on February 22, 1917 in Cowan, Manitoba. Pauline was a waitress in Edmonton until she moved to Winnipeg. She worked at the Princeton Café. She married Gordon in 1953. She was a very hard worker all her life and took on the toughest job of all to be a housewife and mother. She loved watching detective shows and the antique roadshow. CJOB was her favourite radio station. She loved to spend a day picking blueberries with her brother Bill and her friend. She was able to make things out of material that no one else would have that imagination to do that. Pauline was a very caring person to everyone around her. She will be sadly missed by everyone who loved her. We would like to thank the Palliative care nurses and the people at the Riverview Health Centre for making her comfortable for the short time that she was there. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's name can be made to the charity of your choice. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
