STANLEY FRANK JOHNSON After a courageous fight with cancer, Stanley Frank Johnson passed away at the Portage General Hospital on Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was born in Winnipeg to Frank and Winnifred Johnson on April 29, 1929, and was the eldest of five children. Stan was predeceased by his parents, brother David, (infant grandson) Avery Moran and granddaughter Jacqueline Lawson. Leaving to cherish his memory, are his loving wife Victoria of 61 years, son Barry (Jo-Anne), daughter Kathleen (Greg) Lawson, daughter Brenda (Kim) Moran, son Robert (Marg) and grandchildren Jeffery Lawson, Jennifer, Natasha and Eric Moran and Ian and Taylor Johnson. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Ron (Audrey), Brian (Cheryl) and sister Joan (John) Urchenko, as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church. Private family interment will take place in the Columbarium at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stan's memory to the Sunset Palliative Care, Box 92, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3B2.
