Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • To Germaine's family - I am very saddened to hear of your great loss. Your mom was such an intuitive and kind woman, and so wonderful to me as a young man, and I'll never, ever, forget her kindness. - Posted by: Carl Hummel (Friend) on: Nov 13, 2012

  • Gerry, my memories of you and Larry, and your kids in Atikokan are all so positive that I cannot help but smile to think of those days. You were always such a gentle person, but one who knew how to laugh and enjoy your life. And to dance. And after all the challenges that life threw your way, you were still so gracious and decent. Your memory will live on. - Posted by: Kelly Bekeris (Tefs) (Daughter of life long friends, Armin and Stella) on: Nov 07, 2012

  • WE have lost a beautiful spiritual sister who exemplified dignity, grace and modesty in facing her many challenges in life. She was always positive and was certain of the ressurection hope, so was at peace as she again faced dificult health issues. We will miss her at the congregation. I will miss our many long talks in her apartment @ Worthington. It will be hard to look up at her window and not be able to wave, just in case she could see us. She so adored and appreciated her family; her many siblings & children/grandchildren. She was kind enough to fight to stay for 93 years for her family to enjoy her, and now your own unique experiences with her will sustain each of you. Eunice, you were the best thing to happen to her in her later years. She was so proud of her granddaughters thriving in their lives with their well-chosen mates; at times she could hardly believe how well things worked out. Kari, you were so very special to her and then you treated her to two wonderful boys which made her joy more complete. And Alan, she was so proud of you for taking over in raising Anita's son. She said that it was good family does. And Roland, you were, everything in a son she could ever ask for. You will miss her. And to her sister, (sorry I just got all the names mixed up, but I think Roma (she just got married). Thank you for bringing her to the Kingdom Hall. It must have been hard to lift that wheelchair into the trunk of your car but you did. That was very kind of you. Our sympathy to all of you. She will be missed but she left a legacy of gentleness & femininity; yet with the strength to deal with her sorrows. She will not be forgottten. - Posted by: Diane (Friend/spitirual sister ) on: Nov 07, 2012
