JOHN MORTON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Fisher Morton on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the age of 91 in Winnipeg, MB. Beloved husband of 69 years to Norma and father to Dennis, Robert, Gary (Liz) and Karen (Fred). Grandfather to Jeffrey (Lisa), Kevin, Kristi (Jose), Justin (Karine), Jessica (Phong) and Tara. Great-grandfather of Alexie, Hanna, Liam and Izabel. Also left to cherish his memory is his brother-in-law Allan Peatfield and family, his niece Anna May Wheetell and her family and Brenda Demetrioff and family in Calgary. The family would like to express their special thanks to the staff of Access Transcona, The Golden Door geriatrics center and the caring staff of the Victoria Hospital. The celebration of Johnnie's life will be at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Thursday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
