Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE CECILE ANITA GAETZ Peacefully on November 3, 2012 Anita passed away at the age of 74 years at the Health Sciences Centre. Anita was predeceased by her loving husband Ken Desjarlais only nine months prior. Anita retired from Fred Douglas Lodge after 25 years and enjoyed knitting, crafts, crosswords, country music and going to an adult day school where she made many friends. Anita will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, but know that she is in a better place. At Anita's request, there will not be any services. A private burial will take place for family this weekend.

We grow up together in a small town named Holtyre and Ramore, Ont. We had a lot of good childhood memories. Even if we didn't see each other often, I will miss her smiles. May she rest in peace. I am one of the Serafin family. Anita and her brothers and sisters were as close to us as our own siblings. We were constantly together during our growing years. Unfortunately when we grew up we all went our separate ways. Although I am in contact with Irene on occasion, only once did I see Anita again. I will remember Anita in my prayers.
