NICHOLAS (NICK) MLYNAROVICH 1927 - 2012 Peacefully with his loving family by his bedside, we sadly announce the passing of Nicholas (Nick) Mlynarovich on November 1, 2012 at The Concordia Hospital. Dad was born on August 16, 1927 to William and Anna Mlynarovich of Pine Ridge. Dad met Mom (Jean) and was married in Kenora, Ontario on August 30, 1947. They lived their entire married life in Transcona where they raised three children. To mourn his loss, Dad/Didi leaves his children Valerie (Paul Reuter), Terry (Dayle) and Joanne (Hartly Friesen), three grand-children Michael Warner (Marian), Shaun, Heather (Jeff Penner) and one great-grandson Nicholas Warner. Dad was the last of the Mlynarovich children, being predeceased by his parents and siblings John, Joe, Anne, Jean, Casmir, and Olga. Dad also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by Meagan (Michael Olson) and their children Noah, Isaac and Sean Reuter (Sandi), their children Dylan and Mitchell Dad was employed for the majority of his working years at Dominion Malting Plant. When he retired in 1985 he still continued to keep in contact with his friends there and enjoyed the different social events with them. Dad loved tinkering with things, building, gardening, golfing and camping with Mom. After the passing of Mom, Dad eventually moved to the Meadows where he spent many enjoyable years, made many new friends, helped tend to the flower gardens, spent a brief time on the Condo Board and loved spending time playing shuffleboard and evening card games. The Family wishes to thank the nursing staff at The Concordia Hospital (N1 North) for their care, compassion and kindness in helping Dad during the time he was in their care. According to Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and a family-only memorial service and interment was held. Donations may be made in Nick's memory to the Crohn's and Colitis Society at www.ccfc.ca
