I met George when I was an international student struggling to get by. He slowly became a friend and then family. I still miss him after all these years. From him, I learned that family is not necessarily blood. He wasn’t related to me by blood, but he proved to me that he was better than some of my own family. I will always love you and miss you. I love and miss you Grandpa. You will always be in my heart. It is said that blood is thicker than water, but in our case Love is thicker than both. You were never my blood relative but you proved many times over that blood isn't the only thing that makes you family. I will always remember and cherish our time and memories together. You were more than just a Grandpa to me. You were my best friend... You were like a father to me. I love you and miss you so very much.
