  • Very sad to hear about Ernests passing. I worked with him and his Brothers Paul, Joe, and James at Horstman Piling. One day at work it was almost quitting time (4pm), Ernie asked me what time it was and I said "four O'clock". Ernie dropped the sheet of plywood he was carrying right in the middle of the street and jumped into the truck to go home. He was always poking fun at people on the job. He would always ask me if I was a man or a mouse. There were many days I would be trying to prove I was not a Mouse. I was always glad to see him when I ran into him in later years. I was also happy that he was able to make his living helping others, as he had a lot to offer others spiritually. He will be missed by all that knew him. - Posted by: Anthony Eyolfson (Friend co-worker) on: Nov 25, 2012

  • My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your husband Charolette. I know you had a great marriage with an abundance of love that showed through both of you. He showed how much he loved you and life will be very different for you without him. I will always remember him as giving, thoughtful and the man with such an amazing personality. Always made the best out of life situations and I learned a lot from his wise words of advice whenever I saw you both at gatherings. Your children are shining examples of the great job that both of you did in raising them. They will always be a constant reminder of his love and influence on them. To your children, Sherryl, Michelle, Stephanie, Melanie, Yolanda and Ernest Jr. as well as all the grandchildren and everyone else who was close to him. I know your dad was a great dad and I could see how much he loved you all. I know losing your father will change your family in some way, but always remember the good times you shared with him and all the love he gave you all throughout the years. He is not gone, for he will live in your hearts forever. Your Husband and Dad Ernest was a good friend of mine, and many times played the father figure in Lindsey’s life too. He always had positive things to say about you all and with Lindsey too. He has passed on to a better place now, it is time to celebrate the life he had here with everyone that knew him. He left a legacy of love, wisdom and guidance for everyone. You can take comfort and strength from the wonderful family you and he had together. I know your love for one another will get you through this time of loss. I pray that you will have the strength you need to get through this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. God Bless! ~Love Darlene Letandre and Family~ - Posted by: Darlene Letandre (Family Friend) on: Nov 15, 2012
