YVONNE MARIE ELISABETH DONALDSON It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and friend, Yvonne Marie Elisabeth Donaldson, at the age of 80 years. Yvonne is survived by her daughters Carin and Vicky; grandchildren Crystal, Devin and Jordan; great-granddaughter Phoenix; and many other special friends. On February 4, 1932, Yvonne was born in Stolkholm, Sweden. As a young girl she began a career in show business as an actress and fashion model. She enjoyed many of life's luxuries and traveled abroad with her many friends. She then met and married her first husband Hans Liljequist in Sweden in 1951, and in 1952, they came to Canada together looking for new and prosperous opportunities. Yvonne took on a job that she loved with the CBC in 1954, as a script assistant. It was there that she met and married her second husband, and father of her two children, Derek 'Irish' Donaldson. Yvonne truly loved life and lived it to the fullest. One of her best memories was when her children were growing up she would have a house full of kids. Always ready to listen and give advice to those young teens. Classical music, fast cars, and days at the beach were some of her many loves. In compliance with Yvonne's wishes there will be no Funeral Service. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for all the loving care Yvonne received throughout the years.
