My heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Doris Nykiforuk. I knew Doris as a child. We both lived on Ross Avenue and played together when we were 9 years old. I remember this delightful and mischievous girl who was so much fun to be around. She loved to play pranks on her family, and I was her partner in crime for some of them. I remember how much she made me laugh! I moved away from the neighborhood, but would bump into Doris periodically over the years. She never changed. Her nursing photo isn't that far off from what she looked like as a child. Whenever I saw her, I always found that same delightful soul. I loved her spirit, and how she could buoy up those around her. She was one of the good ones. I am confident she will be a wonderful, kind and mischievous angel! Be on the lookout. She has been in my prayers, and I will continue this spiritual conversation with her. I so wanted to attend her service and meet all of her family, but the day didn't work out for me. I'm so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers as well. Sincerely, Sandy Brown - Posted by: Sandy Brown (friend) on: Nov 18, 2012
