JANIS MARY NIX (nee HOLMES) October 26th 1955 - November 21st 2010 Fourteen years ago, through the grace of God, you received a heart transplant! While He gave us the blessing of your continued presence, you showed us your unwavering resilience and courage, reminding us to cherish every moment on this earth, until we once again meet in heaven. Two years have quickly come and gone, and though we miss you Jan, you live on in our hearts. Not a day goes by without us remembering your truly altruistic nature, expressed ever so dearly in your relationships as devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, niece, colleague, friend and confidant. These relationships were sacred to us, reflecting your compassion, generosity, integrity and modesty. While these virtues of character were interwoven throughout the tapestry of your life, they were most profoundly expressed through the deep and everlasting Faith we share with you.
