Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENISE ALICE JENNINGS (nee MOSER) September 4, 1949 - November 17, 2012 Denise Jennings peacefully passed away at home with her loving husband of 38 years, Don and her son Sean by her side. Denise is survived by brothers Dennis, Larry (Vera), father-in-law Walter Jennings, sisters-in-law Gloria Forscutt (Del), Carol Queen (Gary), Lois Feniuk (Bob) and many nieces and nephews. Denise was predeceased by her parents John and Alice Moser and mother-in-law Victoria Jennings. Denise grew up in St. Vital on Poplarwood Avenue where she met Don, her soul-mate. In later years she worked for United Way, Monarch Life and Shell Oil in Winnipeg before moving to Calgary to continue with Shell Oil until her retirement in April 2008. Denise loved reading, listening to Il Divo, spending time at the trailer and holidays in Mexico. This lovely flower bloomed in 1949 and lived a life of joy and now, in 2012, this lovely flower has faded away, to bloom in heaven another day. A very special thank you to Dr. Marc Webster, Dr. Coulter and R.N. Nancy Moore of the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Thank you to all the wonderful people at Tom Baker, Home Care and Hospice Calgary for their support and compassion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Denise's name directly to the Cancer Society of Manitoba or the Children's Wish Foundation.
