ALMA OLIVIA MICHELLE Suddenly, after courageously battling illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alma (Olivia) Michelle, on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 36. Olivia was originally from South Indian Lake, and made her home in Cranberry Portage, MB. She was the beloved wife of Derrick Danielson for 18 years, and loving mother of Rory Thomas (19 years), Cody Danielson (16 years) and Haylie Danielson (13 years). Olivia's greatest loves were her family, home and community. Her thoughtful and caring heart made her well respected and adored. She had a special affinity towards children, and those who knew her treasured her dearly. When Olivia was not shopping, enjoying her gospel music in the comfort of her home or enjoying the company of her family and friends, she found peace being out at the Elbow Lake camp with Derrick and her kids. Olivia was survived by her mother Charlotte Michelle; father Bill Linklater; grandmother Theresa Michelle; her sisters Elfreda, Tamara, Bernida, Robbin and Raven, and brothers Darcy, Fletcher, Elmer, Lester and Fabian; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Olivia was predeceased by her grandparents John Michelle, Jack Linklater and Rosalie Linklater, and other cherished relatives. Services will be held as follows: Wake: 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Sunday, December 2, 2012, Cranberry Portage Legion Hall. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, Frontier Collegiate Gymnasium, Father Paul of the St. Anne's Parish will be officiating. Luncheon: Following the funeral service Monday, December 3, 2012, Cranberry Elementary School Gymnasium. Derrick and family would like to thank all those who loved Olivia and have shown their love and support during this difficult time.
