It took 17 years the day my sister Crystal had graduated college before the very first time I had met this very special lady, and I have never forgot what she had told me "Never to be shy, always grow up to be something great, and be good." I wish I had stayed in touch but life carried me away from family I never got to know. It's been close to 9 years since then, and I still remember how gentle and kind the words she spoke. My Sisters Shannon, Crystal, and I will miss you (you knew them longer than me, I was a baby when life happened) wish we would of been there and I will never forget the large impact the brief meeting had, I still have the picture from that day. All my love and God bless the beautiful person you are. - Posted by: Charmain Coutu (Neice) on: Dec 30, 2012

My Valerie - I will miss you so much. You were much more to me than a friend - more than I can ever put in words ....you were one of my best friends who stood by my side helping me whenever I needed you - you were always there! You helped me raise my son Kolbie - always supporting him with attending all the high points in his life like hockey & his graduation, you helped me bury my grandmother, my father and my mother. You always picked me up off the ground when I needed your help! You are a person who always gave of herself to me...someone I loved deeply...someone who I am very honoured to have loved and called my friend. I will never forget our memories of fun times - dancing, family gatherings, horse back riding, camping, fishing and travelling. I know your spirit will live inside of me and I will call upon you when I need you - I love you Valerie and will miss you so very much. A piece of my book has ended and another chapter in my life is done - but your stories of life will live on through me onto my grandchildren. - Posted by: Haven Stumpf (Friend) on: Dec 03, 2012

Val, You will be missed more than anyone could imagine. Your kindness, compassion, and laughter will never be forgotten. I will miss all of the evenings sitting in the yard and the laughter and conversations that we shared. May God bless you. You will be sadly missed by all of your loved ones. - Posted by: Nancy Wittman (Friend) on: Dec 02, 2012
