On behalf of the Scarlett family, I would like to pass on our condolences. Isabel was my Mom's (Connie' nee Steuart) closest friend. A friendship that started for both of them in pre-school and lasted until my Mom's passing in March of 2011. As a result of this closeness, Isabel became my God mother in 1960. I always remember her as kind and jovial who always took an interest in our family, especially my Mom. I remember when she and Ted returned to Winnipeg to live after his retirement. It was a happy time for my Mom who always reminised about their youth and Ted's sense of humour. Our heart felt sympathies go out to Ted, a really nice guy who has had to weather a lot of family tragedy with Karen and later, Gordon. Please accept this as our tribute to a wonderful person, like no other. - Posted by: Victor Scarlett (God Son) on: Dec 04, 2012

Good bye Auntie Isabel I have many, many fond memories of you from early childhood to our most recent vist at Uncle Teds birthday. You were a kind soul with a generous heart and never a bad word to be said against anyone. I will cherish my memories of our many dinners and visits and miss you.
