KATHERINE GINTER (nee REIMER) 1923 - 2012 Peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge, Monday, December 3, 2012, Katherine Ginter of Morden, MB, passed away at the age of 88 years. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Gerry and wife, Gail, daughter, Sandra and husband, Randy, granddaughters, Jaime (Andre), Lindsay (Rory), Ashley (John) and grandson, Rob. Kathy was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Jack, Grace and Luc. Kathy is also survived by her brother, Phil (Anne) Reimer and sister-in-law, Lill Reimer. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cornie in 1988, her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Mom lived a long and healthy life. She was born and raised in Morden, MB, where she met the love of her life Cornie and they were happily married for 40 years. She was a devoted member of St. Paul's United Church and served on various committees, including the UCW and Mission Band. Her involvement with Victoria Rebekah Lodge #15 brought her great joy and fulfillment. Mom and Dad loved to entertain and hosted many family dinners and card parties with friends. She was an excellent hostess and cook and her recipes will be cherished by her family. Mom had many wonderful friends in Morden and loved spending time with them. In her passing, she has left a great void in our lives; however, she has left us with the blessing of her memory which we will hold dear forever. Please join us for a celebration of her life on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church, 353 Thornhill St. in Morden, MB. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for their excellent care in the final years of Mom's life.   • I went to school with Sandra and Gerry in Morden and remember Kathy always being very welcoming and friendly when I visited their home. I also remember the good treats she served us!   • Kathy & Cornie were our neighbours on 6th street in the 80's. My husband worked at the Royal Bank. They were wonderful neighbours and I enjoyed having coffee with Kathy.
