ERIC GEORGE ERNEST COX B.A., L.Th February 11, 1928 - December 7, 2012 After a lengthy illness, Eric passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Friday morning surrounded by peace and love at Deer Lodge Centre. He is survived by Anita, his wife of 41 years and his cousin George Frost in England. He was predeceased by his parents in 1985, George Folliett Cox and Edith Emson Frost Cox, and his first wife Nancy. Eric was diagnosed with Alzheimer Disease in December of l999 and spent his latter years coping with all the disabling effects of this illness. Many people assisted him during these years, without whom his life would have been even more difficult. Our grateful thanks go to Maryann Warga, Rozalie Lazar, Eve Sidwall, Tara Keyser, the staff at PRIME, and Arlis Decorte and the staff of Tower 3. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Chad's Anglican Church, Christian Centre, 3390 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Eric was a special man, a good man who dedicated much of his life to the service of others.
