It has been just over 4 months since you passed and I feel like I can finally say something on here. I have known you for about 30 years and you were always, always kind to me. You were a great father-in-law. Very thoughtful. Never forgot a birthday or anniversary or a special occasion. I always looked forward to seeing you when you came to visit, we had a lot of laughs. I know there was a deep loss when LouAnn passed and also when Cheryl passed. I feel confident that you are with them now and you all watch over us here. I love and miss you. We will see you again one day, but in the meantime you are in my thoughts each and everyday. Xoxo - Posted by: Lisa (Daughter-in-law) on: Apr 21, 2013

I was Dave's neighbour for 13 years, many of those years I was a single mother. He was the best neighbour anyone could ask for, and helped me whenever I needed it. One saying I heard over and over again,(mainly because I did not always make good decisions and choices in life) was "There's only one ass to kick!!". I will use this saying throughout my life and every time I will remember my wonderful friend Dave Wright. I will miss you my friend, till me meet again. Love Denise. - Posted by: Denise Harris (Friend and Neighbour) on: Dec 08, 2012

I met Dave when he drove cab back in 1971. I was struck by his warmth, humor, and his enthusiasum towards life. We also had something in common; the drink of a good rum and a political debate. I was thrilled for him when he met Lou-Ann, and was honored to be the best man at their wedding. Over the years I got to know Dave's wonderfull kids Glen & Cheryl and enjoyed our times at Ingolf Ont. After 42 years Dave was like a brother to me and I will miss our lunches and our fiesty debates. I know you aren't suffering any longer. I believe you are in the arms, once again, of Lou and Cheryl. My thoughts are with Glenn and Lisa, Vera and family. - Posted by: Warren Patterson and my wife Linda (friend) on: Dec 08, 2012
