Merle was a wonderful person; gentle, always cheerful inspite of her health problems. Even though I had not seen her for a while, her image is fresh in my mind. Merle was a wonderful cook and a gracious host. We enjoyed many memorable meals at her place. Her stuffed roties were truly superb. My thoughts are with Henry, Michelle and the whole family. May her soul rest in peace. - Posted by: tej bains (old friend) on: Dec 10, 2012

Dearest Uncle Clinton, Michelle, Tim and family, our sincere condolences on the loss our wonderful auntie Merle. All the cherished memories she has left behind would be rememberd forever. The many long road trips Uncle Clinton, Auntie Merle and Michelle took to Toronto to attend our wedding in July 1976 or just to spend summer vacations visiting family were so precious. The many times we met in Trinidad during vacations, visited families and shared delicious meals together are now moments to reflect upon and treasure in our hearts forever. Auntie Merle was such a loving, caring soft spoken aunt. She was a person who always saw the positive in everyone, and only had good things to say about her family and friends. All she ever wanted was to live life in peace, love and unity. Auntie Merle was truly an angel on earth and the good Lord has called her home. She has departed this world, but will forever remain in our hearts. - Posted by: Gerry and Marlyne Sinanansingh (Nephew & Niece) on: Dec 09, 2012

Dear Uncle Clinton, cousin Michelle and family. My Dear Auntie Merle was a true lady, always welcoming her family into her home. I remember the early days of my childhood and how our family would spend lots of time with her at your home. The memories of the wonderful gardens and the warmth of snuggling in her bed and the smell Limacol and Tiger Balm. The landing of Apollo 8, launch on my sister Jen's birthdayin the winter of 1968. The first mission to have astronauts leave the earth, enter the moon's orbit and return home.I experienced it all in Auntie Merle's home. So many wonderful memories like yesterday. Time has moved on quickly and one day all of us will be in heaven where Auntie Merle is right now looking down at us. Rest in peace my dear Aunt. Love from Darryl and Mary Ann. - Posted by: Darryl Mohamed (Nephew) on: Dec 08, 2012
