HELEN ANN REDDEN (nee GRANT) August 14, 1937-November 30, 2012 Heaven just became a little brighter. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Redden on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Grace Hospital with all of her children and grandchildren at her side. Helen was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Bert Redden on March 22, 2011. Remaining to forever cherish Helen's memory are her children Vicki (Randy), Lenore (Phillip), and Tim (Jamie); grandchildren Darren (Nadine), Carlee, Amanda, and Brad; great-grandchildren Blake and Brielle; sisters Sandra (Ian) and Margaret (John) of British Columbia; and brother-in-law Howard of Kentville, Nova Scotia. Helen devoted her life to her family, unselfishly supporting her husband's military career. She was always there to help support her children in the life changes that need to be made for each of the many times the family was relocated. She has always been the one constant in her children's lives and for this will remain forever present in their hearts. Special thanks are extended to all of the staff at the Grace Hospital ICU as well as to Major Gordon Jarvis who was of great comfort to the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to the Southern Alberta Kidney Foundation or to a charity of your choice. In keeping with Helen's wishes, a small private family service will be held at Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg. Funeral Home and Crematorium 204-774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca

  • Such a lovely lady, we will so miss our annual Christmas card. The glue that kept your family together. She is in a safe place with Bert and friends. Take care all of you. - Posted by: Barry and Leona Malcolm (Friend and relative of the familly) on: Dec 08, 2012
