Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN MARIE MORRISSEAU March 27, 1929 - December 10, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother has passed on to be with her loving Saviour. She left us from the Southeast Personal Care Home on the afternoon of December 10, 2012, at the age of 83 years. Mom leaves to mourn her passing her children, Valerie (George), Larry, Theresa (Lloyd), Lesley (Liz), Donna (David), Deborah (Leonard), Marvin, Kimberly and Claude; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Morrisseau, her parents Daniel and Mary-Ellen Cochrane, her brother Gabriel, her infant son Adrian and a set of twins, granddaughters Merrily and Tracey and one grandson, Michael. Mom worked for Child and Family Services for many years and had a vast and thorough knowledge of family history and community ancestry. Mom loved watching movies, listening to Coast-to-Coast on CJOB, which ignited her interest in the paranormal and the hereafter. She would tell us stories about what she had heard in a colourful narrative manner. Mom loved laughing, hearing jokes, playing games, music, playing guitar, conversing and sharing with her family. Mom also enjoyed her crafts and knitting, turning her interests into Lil's Gift Shop, which she owned for many years in her home community. Mom was well-known for her generous and thoughtful nature. She also had a love of animals, sharing her life with many pets throughout the years, her most recent companions being her cats, Molly and Daisy. In keeping with her wishes there will be a brief wake service beginning Tuesday, December 11 until Wednesday, December 12 at St. Alexander Parish in Sagkeeng First Nation, followed by the funeral service on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Rock Fontaine Funeral Director Honour- Respect-Dignity (866) 499-2601 or in Winnipeg (204) 223-2576.
