JOHN GEORGE RIECK May 26, 1933 - December 10, 2012 John George Rieck, aged 79 years, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Concordia Hospital. John George goes to rejoin his Evaline, brothers Ernie and John, granddaughters Suzie and Angie, grandsons Kevin and Randall and great-grandson Riley. John George is survived by his children Maryanne (Rollie), Barbara (Dennis), Charles (Clarice), Roddy, Rudolph (Christina), Bernard (Glenda), Dennis (Priscilla) and his baby boy Leslie. He also leaves behind his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom came to take you home to a wonderful place that she has made beautiful for you, Loretta Lynn music playing in the background as you walked through the door of the home that God built for both of you. We will remember everything you have done for your children and grandchildren, how you provided love, caring, understanding, honesty and direction. Our tears show sorrow, our smiles show memories and our togetherness shows the strength you have taught us Dad. You will be missed dearly but never forgotten, take her hand now Dad and enjoy your everlasting home with God. My Dad John George's wishes were to spread his ashes at his home in Princess Harbour. Family will get together on Sunday, May 26, 2013 to make his wish come true. Anyone who would like to give their condolences is welcome to join the family to feast anytime on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Maryanne's house at 10 Rudolph Bay, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Please no donations or flowers.
