ROBERT JOHN STEFANCHUK Needlessly, on Friday, November 30, 2012 near Steinbach, Robert John Stefanchuk passed away as a result of a tragic car crash. Bob is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jennifer, and the apples of his eyes - Justin (Amanda Yatsko) and Robyn Hardern (Dean Hardern). He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anne Stefanchuk in 2008, his mother-in-law, Eleanor Palmer (1998) and father-in-law, John Palmer (1988). He leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish his memory. Bob was born on June 28, 1953 - the only child of Peter and Anne Stefanchuk. He grew up on the family farm in Stuartburn, MB, attending school in both Stuartburn and Vita. Bob loved anything with wheels and motors and from an early age learned to fix any type of vehicle. In fact - through the years - there was nothing Bob couldn't figure out how to fix. If anyone needed a car part or advice to fix something, they knew they only had to call Bobby. Bob had a big heart and could make friends easily - you couldn't go anywhere without running into someone Bob knew - near or far from home. Although his life was cut much too short, he was able to accomplish most of the things he wanted to. He saw his children meet their soul mates and he and Jennifer shared many wonderful memories and occasions. Bob touched the hearts of many and he will stay in their hearts forever. If we can all say that about our lives, that is a pretty wonderful life lived. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Green Ridge United Church. Burial will be held at Green Ridge Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada. • My deepest sympathy goes to Jennifer and kids. When I was young Bobby was best friend with my uncle Bobby and when he came over to Bobby's house in Stuartburn we were always looking at motors of cars, he used to tease me and call me a little shrimp being a small person. R.I.P. Bobby, now you and my uncle Bobby can carry on your friendship up in Heaven. Love Kellie - Posted by: kellie tkachuk (called him my cousin..) on: Dec 13, 2012
